Penang #2 New challenger of yam rice in Bukit Mertajam

Had a chance to try out this new outlet that sells Bukit Mertajam's famous yam rice. I went into the shop without any expectation as my bias is the shop in Old Town Bukit Mertajam shop.

However, the dish itself is very fragrant and tasted as good (or better) as the shop in the town. The broth is very smooth and yam rice is served with fragrance and portions are generous. Price is very reasonable as well.

Overall, I would recommend to try the shop up as it is newly open.
