📞Hello Hello, if you hear me, please respond
✨️Wat Arun Ratchawararam was originally named Wat Makok and was renamed "Wat Chaeng" during the reign of King Taksin the Great.
✨️After moving the capital to Thonburi, King Taksin ordered the restoration of this temple to become a royal monastery.
✨️During the Rattanakosin era under King Rama II, a tall prang (spire) was constructed, which became the iconic symbol of Wat Arun. This prang stands 82 meters tall and is decorated with glazed tiles and seashells, creating beautiful patterns that shine in the sunlight🌞
✨️It is believed that paying respect to the prang of Wat Arun brings light into one’s life. Therefore, Thai people often come to make merit at this temple to enhance their good fortune on New Year's Day.
