Worship at Wat Phra Si Mahathat Bang Khen

- Wat Phra Si Mahathat Woramahawihan Bang Khen is a first-class royal temple. It was originally named Wat Prachathipatai but is now commonly known as "Wat Phra Si" or officially as Wat Phra Si Mahathat Woramahawihan. The temple enshrines a relic of the Buddha brought from India in its stupa. There is also a large Bodhi tree located on an island in the middle of the water, which was planted from a branch of the Sri Maha Bodhi tree from the sacred site in India, brought by a diplomatic delegation. It is near BTS, perfect for a trip close to BTS.
