The Grand Palace in Bangkok is a must-see — no matter how many times you've been to Thailand, this place always stuns! 💛 From the glittering golden rooftops to the endless details in the walls and statues, it feels like stepping into a living postcard. 📸

☀️ Be prepared — the sun is no joke! It gets super hot, especially midday. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. You’ll be walking around quite a bit, and there isn’t much shade. I was melting but still amazed! 😅

✨ Dress code alert!
Before you go, make sure you dress respectfully — no sleeveless tops, shorts, or tight clothing. Covered shoulders and long pants or skirts are a must (they’re very strict!). If you’re not dressed properly, you’ll have to buy or rent clothes at the gate.

Inside the palace, Wat Phra Kaew is the most sacred part. That’s where the famous Emerald Buddha sits — small but so powerful 🛐💚 The statue is changed seasonally by the King himself, and the atmosphere inside is really serene. No photos allowed inside the temple though, so just take it in with your eyes and heart 🥹

Something fun I didn’t expect — I caught a little marching ceremony by the royal guards. It’s all for show, but still interesting to watch and adds that royal feeling to the whole place 👑💂♂️

Set aside at least 2–3 hours to explore everything slowly — there's just so much to take in. 🏛️✨
