🌊【Ogijima Island|Parents and children enjoy a relaxing time on the art island】🌊

#trip The perfect choice for family outings

Some places don't require elaborate itineraries or planned attractions; simply strolling quietly allows you to feel the warmth of life.

Ogijima Island (おぎじま), located in Kagawa Prefecture, is one such island.

On this trip, we brought our children to this island, a place where art, sea breeze, and everyday life blend together, experiencing a gentle and surprising island adventure from a family perspective.

Ogijima's narrow, winding streets, where ancient stone walls and wooden houses intertwine, create a nostalgic atmosphere.

As we ascended the slope, we discovered artists' creations along the walls, in windows, and around corners. Some pieces sway in the wind, while others are hidden within houses, waiting to be explored.

Travel doesn't have to be fast; slowing down allows for more clarity.

As we walked, we were greeted by a group of leisurely cats. They seemed accustomed to the presence of tourists, gracefully basking in the sun and wandering through the alleys.

A gentle call brought a ginger cat closer. A moment of tenderness between man and cat, their interaction, became the most natural scene of our trip.

In the distance, fishermen were sorting their nets, the sound of waves crashing against the shore and the wind blending into a gentle melody.

Before returning, we stopped at a small café near the harbor. The harbor view was visible from the window, and the islanders greeted us warmly. During our conversation, they remarked, "Ogijima's greatest charm is its slow pace."

Ogijima is a place where "family travel" truly becomes "heart-to-heart travel."
