We stayed in the Athenee Room, which is just the right size, decorated in a contemporary Thai style with royal details such as wall patterns, soft gold tones, and exquisitely carved wooden furniture. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower, with full amenities at a luxury hotel level.

The breakfast buffet at Raintree Café was very impressive, offering Thai, Western, Japanese, Indian dishes, freshly baked bread, and delicious fresh fruit. Dinner at Smooth Curry was the ultimate spicy Thai food experience, with a beautifully decorated restaurant that is elegant yet friendly.
