An art fair inviting us to explore the world of printmaking art

"Thailand Printmaking Festival 2025" is an art fair that invites us to discover the world of printmaking art in a more fun and accessible way than ever before 🤗

Printmaking is the creation of artworks that can be reproduced using a printing matrix as a medium. There are many printmaking techniques, such as Woodcut, Etching, Drypoint, Mezzotint, Silkscreen/Serigraphy, and Monotype. The fascinating aspect of printmaking is the creative process that requires precision, experimentation, and creative power to control results that have a unique charm and reflect the artist’s identity through marks, pressure, colors, and textures that cannot be replicated.

For the Thailand Printmaking Festival 2025, GroundControl, together with PPPStudio and Central Chidlom Department Store, invites us to experience the diversity of printmaking art through exhibitions, workshops, and a print market featuring artists from across the country under the concept “Printmaking IS EVERYWHERE,” which will allow us to see printmaking art in various aspects of life beyond just gallery displays.

👨🎨 Art talk “PRINT MATTERS: When Printmaking Changed the Art World from Past to Present” with speakers De–Wutthikorn Khongka and Art of Hongtae (Saturday, July 12, 2025)
