One Day Trip in Bangkok

Take the MRT to visit museums and explore Pak Khlong Talat 🌷🎨

If you're looking for a light trip in Bangkok that's fun, educational, and perfect for taking beautiful photos… try taking the MRT and exploring like we did!

🚇 Start at MRT Sanam Chai Station
This station is super beautiful, styled like a palace with elegant Thai details, perfect for taking photos right after you get off the train.

🎟️ Exit through Gate 1 to reach “Museum Siam”
• There is an entrance fee (I don’t remember the exact price, but it’s affordable and totally worth it)
• The main exhibition is “Decoding Thailand,” which is very fun and interactive
• There’s a zone where you can try opening cabinets and drawers, giving a small escape room vibe
• Kids will enjoy it, and adults will find it entertaining too

📸 Photo spots:
• In front of the museum, there’s a model tram and old European-style buildings
• Inside, you can take photos in almost every zone with great lighting

🌼 Then take a walk to “Pak Khlong Talat” (about a 10-minute walk)
• This street is fun to walk along, passing Wat Pho and Wat Arun, which you can stop by if you want
• At the market, you’ll find vibrant flowers lining both sides of the street
• There are both Thai and foreign flowers at very cheap prices! 10 roses for just 40 baht 🌹

🥤 Recommended snacks:
• Iced milkshake and bread from the street carts near Pak Khlong Talat
• There are also several cute little coffee shops hidden in the flower alleys

📍End the trip by taking the MRT back from either Itsaraphap or Sanam Chai Station.
