Tonkin Annam Bangkok

Tonkin Annam is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant awarded for 4 consecutive years, located in the Tha Tien area in the alley opposite Wat Pho. The restaurant is a small two-story shophouse with a warm, contemporary decor.

The must-try dishes include “Nem Nuong” – fragrant grilled pork served with fresh vegetables and thin crispy rice paper that doesn’t need soaking, topped with a special peanut sauce with a balanced flavor; “Guay Jub Yuan” – chewy noodles with aromatic broth and prominent pepper; “Banh Beo” – steamed rice cakes in small bowls sprinkled with pork and crispy pork skin, drizzled with minced pork sauce, served with calamansi to enhance the flavor; and fried dishes like “Shrimp Crisp” – crispy without oily residue, with firm shrimp meat.

The staff provide excellent service, and almost every dish is freshly made. Vietnamese food lovers must not miss this place.
