Watching a movie at Major Cineplex Promenade branch

July 31, 2025, is the first day the movie Omniscient Reader: The Prophet is showing in theaters. We chose Major Cineplex Promenade because it is the closest to home and has a showtime at 7:30 PM.

It has Thai and English subtitles, spoken in Korean.

Seating inside
There are two seat prices: regular seats at 260 baht and honeymoon seats at 280 baht. We chose to book the honeymoon seat in the last row. This seat is a regular cushion, not a wide seat like other theaters, so the regular and honeymoon seats don’t feel very different. The armrest cannot be raised. At the 7:30 PM show, the theater was almost full for the last 6 rows.

Outside the theater
There are popcorn and drinks for sale. We chose to buy the smallest size popcorn and bottled water. You can choose two flavors for the popcorn. We chose sweet and truffle flavors. Next time, we will try all truffle or truffle with cheese. This time, the sweet flavor was mild, and the sauce didn’t coat every piece. The total for water and popcorn was 215 baht.
