[Thailand Bangkok] Recommended Spots for Traveling in Thailand

Thailand Travel Summary 🇹🇭

Since I stayed in Bangkok for a long time,
I’m summarizing my favorite places and experiences ( ◠‿◠ )

⚠️ Many places in Thailand do not accept credit cards or only accept them for small amounts,
so it’s recommended to basically assume you’ll pay in cash ◎

📍 Bangkok (BANGKOK)
1: Wat Paknam / Wat Arun
2: GOOD GOODS CENTRAL WORLD
3: AFTER YOU DESSERT CAFE / KRUA AROY-AROY
4: Khao Niao Mamuang Mae Wari
5: SILOM THAI COOKING SCHOOL

✏️ Details
1: Wat Paknam
Wat Paknam is famous for its emerald-colored stupa and ceiling paintings. I thought the Buddha’s life story would show aging, but they all looked the same, haha.
It’s said that if you walk around three times clockwise, your wish will come true ✨

1: Wat Arun
Wat Arun, which is also depicted on the 10 baht Thai coin. The mosaic decorations made from ceramic shards were beautiful!
I recommend seeing Wat Arun from the opposite bank at sunset ◎

2: GOOD GOODS CENTRAL WORLD
If it’s your first time in Thailand and you want cute souvenirs and delicious food quickly, go to CENTRAL WORLD!
The miscellaneous goods are cute, and the food court is excellent.
The Siam area where CENTRAL WORLD is located has cute shops and local food, making it the best 🏃‍♀️

3: AFTER YOU DESSERT CAFE
Espuma cream and fluffy shaved ice with Thai tea flavor 🍧 I was also curious about the mango sticky rice flavored shaved ice! You can choose the size too.

3: KRUA AROY-AROY
Khao Soi is a coconut milk-based curry-flavored noodle dish!
The tender chicken and two types of noodles with different textures were delicious 🍜

4: Khao Niao Mamuang Mae Wari
A specialty mango sticky rice shop 🥭
Even if you don’t like mango sticky rice, I want you to come here just to eat the mango.

5: SILOM THAI COOKING SCHOOL
A cooking school certified by the Thai government
If you choose the morning class, you can join shopping for ingredients at a local market 🍅
We made and ate five dishes, having so much fun that time flew by, haha
