“Meaningful New Year’s Eve at Wat Ratchabophit – Beautiful Architecture and Nighttime Spirit”

On the past New Year’s Eve, I chose to spend the moment at Wat Ratchabophit, one of the most beautiful royal temples in Bangkok. The atmosphere that night was filled with tranquility, with many people joining the “New Year’s Eve Chanting” amid the resonant chants echoing throughout the temple grounds.

The most impressive part was the beauty of the architecture. This temple perfectly blends Thai and Western art styles. The ordination hall and the chedi are adorned with Benjarong ceramic tiles. The nighttime lights reflected on the chedi’s shadow created an image both sacred and beautiful.

The New Year’s Eve chanting here not only brought peace of mind but also allowed one to absorb the energy from the sacred place and the like-minded people present. It was truly a warm and profound New Year’s experience 🙏✨
