Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram Ratchaworawihan, or Wat Ratchabophit for short, is the temple of King Rama V and VII. It is located on Fueang Nakhon Road. It was built during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, Rama V. Its architecture is a mix of Thai and European architecture. The exterior is Thai architecture, while the interior of the church is decorated in Western style. The highlights of Wat Ratchabophit are the ordination hall, the chapel, the pagoda, and the glass gallery, which have beautiful Thai lacquered and mother-of-pearl patterns. Some parts are decorated with Benjarong glazed tiles. The pagoda is decorated with bell-shaped glazed tiles. It is the last principal pagoda built according to traditional designs that have been practiced since ancient times.
