If you're looking for a cafe where you can relax, read a book, or enjoy a relaxing cup of tea, Gimbocha is a must-try. Located near the National Stadium BTS station, it's easily accessible, has some parking, and the atmosphere exudes a warm, Japanese feel. I'm not sure if the grandma actually runs the shop, but it feels like you're at home, with attention paid to every detail.
🍵 Recommended Dishes:
• Kung Fu Oolong Tea – The shop's signature dish, meticulously crafted in the Kung Fu style, creates a smooth, rich, and aromatic flavor.
• Lemon Tart – Refreshingly tart, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for a hot cup of tea.
📖 Atmosphere & Working Space:
The shop has private tables and comfortable sofas, perfect for working or reading. Free Wi-Fi and power outlets are available, but if you visit during peak hours, you might have to fight for a nice spot.
⏰ Opening Hours: 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Open daily except Thursday
💰 Price:
Mid-range prices, not too cheap, but good value for the quality.
If you're looking for something to eat, A warm and quiet cafe with Kung Fu-style tea and quality desserts, Gimbocha is a must-try. It feels like "chilling at grandma's house, but still maintaining a chic Japanese feel."
