Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 Review

The hotel is located in Sukhumvit 24, about 200 meters from BTS Phrom Phong station. In terms of location, it's excellent, being close to two shopping malls, Emporium and EmQuartier, which are less than a 2-minute walk away.

I booked a Standard King room (No Sofa Bed) but was upgraded to a View King room (With Sofa Bed) with a size of approximately 28 sqm. The rooms are not significantly different, mainly varying by floor level. The View King rooms start from the 20th floor upwards.

The room itself is compact but well-equipped. True to the Hyatt brand, everything you need is provided without having to request anything extra from housekeeping. The amenities meet 4-star hotel standards (some 5-star hotels don't even provide a complete set). The King-size bed is quite soft but very comfortable. The bathroom is adequately sized with strong water pressure, which I really liked.

The hotel's facilities are complete but scaled down due to the hotel's size. The swimming pool is functional, but if it's crowded, it might only be suitable for soaking rather than swimming. The staff's service is excellent, with no issues encountered.

As for breakfast, the options are not extensive but sufficient to fill you up. The hotel's parking is convenient, featuring an Auto Parking system.
