Lennon’s: A 1970s-Inspired Bar at Rosewood Bangkok

Lennon’s, a bar located on the 30th floor of the Rosewood Bangkok hotel, is designed with a 1970s concept inspired by mid-century home recording studios. The bar boasts a collection of over 6,000 vintage vinyl records that guests can request the DJ to play or even purchase to take home. A spiral staircase leads to an upper cigar lounge.

The signature drink menu, Lennon’s Favorites, is themed around popular songs by famous artists, with each drink reflecting the style of the song. For instance, "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra features a spherical ice cube in the glass, symbolizing the moon, with a whiskey base—Sinatra’s favorite spirit—blended with Italian liqueur, creating a drink that is both smooth and potent. Another drink, inspired by John Lennon’s "Woman," offers a sweet and easy-to-drink flavor. Lastly, there’s "Why Need to Be Single" by Thai artist Suraphol Sombatcharoen.

A new drink category, The Sound of the Future, focuses on eco-friendly creations using zero-waste processes to minimize food waste. Unique drinks include one inspired by Stevie Wonder’s "You Are the Sunshine of My Life," featuring syrup made from croissants and baked apples from the hotel’s kitchen, offering a sweet and mellow taste. Another drink, inspired by Wilfrido Vargas’ "A Mover La Colita," combines rum with whole bananas and Thai coffee from Left Hand Roasters, garnished with thinly sliced banana chips for a perfectly sweet pairing.

Additionally, there’s a special concoction menu inspired by Giorgio Moroder, the Italian songwriter and producer known as the father of disco. These cocktails are crafted daily by Lennon’s mixologists using surplus ingredients available in the hotel’s kitchen.
