Hidden Dessert Haven by the Riverside: Cafe SOU

Cafe Sou is a delightful hidden spot nestled in a quiet alley off the lively Charoen Nakhon Road. Located close to ICONSIAM and the riverside, the café provides a tranquil retreat from the city’s usual hustle. Its position in Soi 7 gives it a distinctive, offbeat charm, ideal for those looking for a calm and cozy café experience. Since the alley is narrow and mainly residential, parking at ICONSIAM and walking to the café is the most convenient option.
The café itself is housed in a renovated two-story house, giving it a vintage, homey feel. Inside, the décor is warm and nostalgic, featuring wooden furniture, soft lighting, and plenty of corners perfect for photos.
Cafe SOU focuses on desserts and light beverages rather than full meals. Their Caramei Pudding features a smooth custard base topped with caramel, crafted from their “secret caramel pudding recipe.” The Lemon Rare Cheesecake is a no‑bake dessert with a fresh, tangy flavor, finished with cream and a cherry on top. The café also offers a variety of fruit teas, including Peach Tea and Russian Tea (Mixed Berries), making for a refreshing and light accompaniment to the sweets.
