Today we had the opportunity to pay homage to the Buddha and ask for blessings by passing through the ordination hall
at Wat NakProk in the Phasi Charoen area. This temple was built in 2291 during the reign of King Borommakot, just 19 years before the fall of Ayutthaya for the second time. It was a temple that the community built together. It was originally called Wat Pok because it was located in the middle of a garden that looked like a forest covering it.
The highlight is the ancient Chinese paintings on the walls of the ordination hall of Wat NakProk in the original style that has a unique identity.
There is also a Sukhothai bronze Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture, which is over 700 years old, enshrined as the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall.

How to get there:
🚗 Drive your own car/motorcycle into Soi Thet Thai 49 and drive straight to the temple. There is free parking in the temple.
🚕 Take a taxi Tell them to go to Wat Nak Prok, Phasi Charoen.
🚆 Take the BTS and get off at Wutthakat Station. Walk into the alley to the temple, just 600 meters.
🚇 Take the MRT Silom Line and get off at Bang Phai Station. Then take a motorcycle taxi.

❤️ Don't forget to go under the church. There are many more works of art for us to see.
