📞Hello Hello, I heard and replied.
Wat NakProk's name comes from the Buddha image inside the temple, a Naga Prok posture enshrined in the ordination hall, with a seven-headed Naga serpent spreading its hood behind it.
Ayutthaya Art: It is assumed that Wat NakProk was built in the late Ayutthaya period, and this Buddha image shares the style of that period.
The temple was built around 2291 B.E. during the late Ayutthaya period. It was originally named "Wat Prok." Later, during the reign of King Rama III, Auntie https://maps.app.goo.gl/WyvnDNABGQyhxWY57 Sua Puk renovated the temple and brought a Sukhothai Buddha image to be the principal Buddha image in the viharn, resulting in a seven-headed stucco Naga spreading its hood behind it.
