Want to experience a wonderful combination of a stunning sunset, a romantic church and a retro amusement park in Barcelona? Then head straight to Tibidabo Mountain on the outskirts of Barcelona!
Located on the top of the mountain in the northwest suburbs of Barcelona, you can take a taxi to the church building on the top of the mountain and walk for 5 minutes to reach the church.
For only about 5 Euros, you can climb to the observation deck on top of the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, which is an excellent vantage point to overlook the entire Barcelona!
It is highly recommended to come in the evening! When the golden glow of the setting sun spreads over the entire city and gradually sinks into the Mediterranean Sea, the grandeur is really indescribable.
Trust me, it's definitely worth a special trip!
P.S. Although local friends all say "Barcelona is extremely sunny these days", as someone who just "fled" from the high temperature in Beijing, I want to say: This sunshine with a temperature of less than 30 degrees is simply a perfect natural air conditioner! It's definitely a summer resort, haha!
