Among Gaudi's Barcelona buildings, there's one that's more spectacular than I imagined.

Gaudi's Early Architecture: Palau Güell

I was staying at a hotel nearby, so I saw the exterior every day.
Although it's a Gaudi building, it has a somewhat rough and geometric impression unlike other works.

Actually, I ended up to see it by mistake due to a reservation error, and it was a wonderful experience!

The interior is dark and heavy, with a stately structure, but the elaborate decoration is still typical of Gaudi.

The beautiful stained glass windows, the graceful columns, and the pipe organ make you lose track of time.

The interior, commissioned for Güell's home, shows how simple is best.

His wife's room is lavishly decorated, giving a glimpse of how much Güell loved her.
