[Barcelona] Palau Güell, a mansion filled with Gaudi's young talent

Designed for Catalan businessman Eusebi Güell, this mansion is one of Gaudí's early masterpieces. While the exterior is stately and understated, step inside and you'll be captivated by its ingenious design, which skillfully manipulates light and space.

The atrium main hall, the staircase bathed in stained-glass light, and the colorful and unique chimneys on the rooftop all highlight the sources of Gaudí's inspiration, which would later be seen in the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló.
