Radisson Golf and Convention Center Batam,

Just returned from a short but sweet one-night stay at Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam. The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from the Batam Centre ferry terminal, making it relatively convenient, especially if you’re not heading into the main shopping areas.
First impressions were great — the hotel exterior was clean and well-maintained, and the lobby had a modern design with plenty of comfortable seating. We arrived a little after 1pm, but were told the room wouldn’t be ready until the official check-in time at 3pm. Not a big issue for us since we took the chance to grab lunch at the hotel’s coffee house and explore the surroundings.
One of the highlights was definitely the swimming pool overlooking the golf course — the view was tranquil and really helped set the tone for a relaxing stay. There’s also an indoor pool on the fifth floor, which was a nice surprise. We also popped by the gym and were pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped it was for a hotel facility.
Our room was clean and tidy, though it faced the car park instead of the golf course, which was a little bit of a letdown given how scenic the rest of the property is. Another minor downside was the absence of a bathtub, but for the price we paid, we couldn’t really complain.
What really stood out to us was the peaceful and calming atmosphere throughout the property — from the koi ponds to the quiet corridors, it felt like a proper retreat away from the buzz of the city.
All in all, it was an enjoyable and value-for-money stay. Would definitely consider coming back, maybe next time with a room that opens up to the golf course view!
