Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam is a large upscale hotel located in the Sukajadi area of Batam, adjacent to the Padang Golf Sukajadi course. Opened with modern facilities to cater for both business and leisure travellers, it offers over 240 rooms plus about 30-odd one-bedroom apartments, many with views of the golf course. The hotel forms part of a larger development that includes commercial spaces and is well positioned with respect to Batam Centre ferry terminals, Batam’s airport, and major shopping areas. 

Why It’s Worth Visiting
The property is especially compelling for those seeking relaxation, recreation, or events. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming pools (including a kid’s pool), a full wellness spa, fitness centre, multiple dining options including all-day restaurants and lounges, plus 24-hour room service.  For business or large gatherings, the convention centre and meeting venues are major draws — it offers over 2,500 square metres of event space, including a grand ballroom that can host up to 1,800-2,000 guests, and a host of smaller meeting rooms.  There are also recreational options like golf driving ranges, archery, snooker & billiards, cooking classes, and a kids’ club to keep younger visitors occupied. 

My Impression
Staying at Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam felt like being in a retreat that never skimped on convenience. Waking up to golf course views, spending a morning by the pool, then moving into the ballroom for meetings or events — it has a flexibility that suits many kinds of stays. The balance between large-scale capability (events, conventions) and small moments of leisure (spa, dining with views, kids’ play) made it memorable. For me, it’s not just a place to sleep, but a full experience, wherever my purpose on Batam happens to be.
