It offers direct access to the ferry terminal, making it a convenient stop for travellers coming from Singapore. The hotel has 216 rooms and suites, including M Club rooms, Executive Suites, and a Presidential Suite — many with views of the bay. 

Why It’s Worth Visiting
The amenities are excellent and diverse. There’s an infinity outdoor pool and a kids’ pool with a pool bar, a rooftop lounge bar “Altitude” with ocean panoramas and Asian tapas, multiple restaurants like Goji Kitchen & Bar (all-day dining) and Mill & Co (coffee + baked goods), and a full-service spa (Quan Spa) with body treatments, massages, and wellness services.  The hotel also caters well to business and events: there are eight meeting rooms, a grand ballroom with pre-function areas, and high-tech MICE facilities. 

My Impression
Staying at Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay feels like having one foot in relaxation and one foot in momentum. Because of its proximity to the ferry terminal, it’s easy to arrive, drop your bags, and start exploring. The rooftop lounge at sunset, with views over the water and the Singapore skyline across the sea, was a highlight — a place where you can watch the sky shift while sipping a cocktail. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and well appointed (rainfall shower, large TV, plush bedding), which makes returning after a day out feel restorative. It’s a hotel where convenience meets pampering, especially for those who want luxury without sacrificing ease.
