During my trip to Batam, I had the pleasure of staying at Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay, a sleek and modern hotel overlooking the beautiful South China Sea.
The rooms are sophisticated, well-appointed, and come with Wi-Fi, minifridges, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some even feature sea views, balconies, and cozy sitting areas, making the stay even more comfortable.

The hotel’s amenities are excellent — from the outdoor infinity pool with its stunning bay views (perfect for catching the sunset), to the hot tub and the 24-hour gym. Dining is also a highlight, with two restaurants, a coffee shop, and bar.

The stylish Altitude Rooftop Bar and Lounge is top notch. I especially enjoyed relaxing at the rooftop lounge with refreshing drinks and light bites while soaking in the panoramic sunset and bayfront views.
Breakfast was another standout — a delightful buffet spread offering a wide selection of international dishes to start the day right.

The hotel’s location is very strategic, right next to the Horizon Fast Ferry Terminal and directly connected to a mall. It’s also close to Harbour Bay Batam Business Center, Harbour Bay CityWalk, several shopping malls, and plenty of eateries. For sightseeing, walking distance to Harbour Bay waterfront and Jabal Arafah Mosque is only about 4 km away.

Overall, Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury — making it an ideal choice whether you’re traveling for business or leisure.
