The tallest statue in Malaysia at Batu Caves

Batu Caves is located in the North of Kuala Lumpur, easily accessible by train or Grab car. It is a tourist attraction because of the huge golden sculpture of Lord Murugan and 272 colourful steps to the main temple cave. There are a lot of pigeons and monkeys because you can feed them.

Batu caves is a limestone hill consisting of a few caves, temples and Hindu shrines. It is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. There is no admission fee for the main temple cave and remember to dress appropriately.

There are shops outside selling food and rainbow umbrellas (big ones not allowed on planes).
