After numerous visits to Beihai, I've finally cracked the code to the ultimate experience – first-timers, take notes! Avoid the crowds and enjoy a super chill coastal getaway~

📍Location:
Beihai City is located at the southern tip of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Weizhou Island is in the middle of the Beibu Gulf waters of Beihai City and requires a ferry ride; other city attractions are concentrated in Haicheng District and Yinhai District.

🚗Transportation:

- Getting to Beihai: Direct flights to Beihai Fucheng Airport; high-speed rail to Beihai Station, with convenient taxi services available upon arrival.
- Local transport:
- Buses can reach city attractions, but waiting times can be long – try them if you're not in a hurry;
- Taxis/ride-hailing are super convenient, with attractions clustered together, making short trips affordable;
- Renting an electric bike is awesome! 30-50 yuan/day, perfect for coastal rides with maximum vibes~
- To Weizhou Island: Buy ferry tickets in advance on the "Laiyouba" mini-program, 1-1.5-hour journey, island entry requires a ticket.

💗Extra tips:

1. Book Weizhou Island ferry tickets 3-7 days ahead! Hard to get in peak season, choose larger boats for stability and less seasickness.
2. Buy seafood at Qiaogang Market or Waisha Island, confirm processing fees beforehand to avoid scams.
3. Sunscreen! Sunscreen! Sunscreen! UV rays are intense – sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and high-SPF sunscreen are musts.
4. Beihai weather is unpredictable, bring a dual-purpose umbrella for sun/rain, and overcast skies can still make for great beach photos~
