💦 Travel Preparation:
Be sure to bring your ID card, keep your phone charger and power bank ready to “keep you alive”~ For sun protection, arm yourself with sunscreen and sun-protective clothing 👒 Don’t forget mosquito repellent either, the island’s mosquitoes are quite enthusiastic 😅 Bright-colored clothes look great in photos, bring a few extra sets for sure! Swimsuits are essential for water play, prepare about 10 sets of clothes for the kids to change into (playing in the water usually uses up about 2 sets per day).

We stayed at 2 homestays on Weizhou Island this time, and this one is highly recommended 👍🏻 Just 100m from the sea, kids can freely play in the sand and explore the tide pools nearby! The rooftop is also a perfect spot to watch the sunrise 🌄 The host service is very thoughtful, helping with luggage, providing welcome fruit, free shuttle from the pier, and a hearty breakfast. Traveling with kids, choosing this place makes things much easier.
🚗 Island Transportation: Renting an electric scooter is a good option, and you can bargain ✌️ Usually 50 RMB/day, 25 RMB/half day.

🍃 For sweet soups try Ershisi Dong Sweet Soup (5-6 RMB/bowl, everything is tasty) → Youjian Ice Room (around 10 RMB, tastes amazing)
🍃 Vietnamese rice rolls, 3 RMB each, try this specialty.
