Badaling Great Wall

Badaling (Chinese: 八达岭) is the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, located 75 km northwest of Beijing.
Built during the Ming Empire (1368-1644), carefully restored under Mao Zedong, and in 1957 the first section of the Great Wall was opened for free visiting by everyone. Millions of tourists come here every year.
Included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. The Great Wall of China in the Badaling area is the best section of the Great Wall of China, the most majestic and impregnable.
Mountains and valleys in the area of the Badaling site tend to change significantly depending on the time of year.
