It took us 2 hours to drive from Haidian, and during the trip, we met a family who drove from Fangshan, which also took 1 hour. The main reason is that the mountain road is winding and cannot be driven fast. Last year's flood damaged the roads in Fangshan, but they have been repaired now. The car is parked in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, and it costs 30 yuan per person to take the shuttle bus up the mountain. Along the way, we saw that the roads in the scenic area were still being repaired, and the scenic area also needed renovation due to the flood.
Getting off the bus, you are already on the mountain. Overall, it is not tiring, as you are basically walking on the mountain with not much elevation gain. It is very friendly for the elderly and children, as it is mostly steps or gentle slopes.
At the top of the mountain, there is a high-altitude swing. The price is as shown in the picture, and it feels quite high and thrilling. Moving forward, there is a glass platform that is great for taking photos. Continuing along the path, there is a high-altitude zipline, which we did not try. Further along, there is a jungle slide for 30 yuan per person. You wear pants, shoe covers, and gloves, and control your own speed. It takes about 3-4 minutes to slide down, and you will arrive at the entrance of the Jurassic Forest.
The Jurassic Forest is considered a special area of Bairui Valley, with more than 20 animal models of various sizes. Besides dinosaurs, there are tigers, spiders, snakes, and crocodiles, some with sound effects. Children love it and it feels very realistic. There are also dinosaurs you can ride for photos. The overall experience is walking in the forest, which is quite cool.
After exiting the Jurassic Forest, there is a floating bridge for 30 yuan per person. Note that it is not made of glass, and the bottom is hollow, so your phone can fall through. Be very careful! If you don't take this bridge, you can continue walking in the mountain. If it's your first time, it's recommended to take the bridge, as the scenery from the bridge is great.
After crossing the bridge, you can collect spring water on the right side. It is very clear and cool, and the bottle frosts immediately after filling. It is drinkable and very refreshing.
On the way down the mountain, there is a zoo. Feed costs 20 yuan per bag, including carrots, cabbage, and sausages. Along the way down, you can see pigs, horses, cows, sheep, raccoons, and peacocks. At the foot of the mountain, there is a slide car for 20 yuan per person, but it is very short and just makes a turn, so it is not recommended. If you want to slide, go to Yexian Tower.
After descending, you can eat spring water noodles for 20 yuan per bowl. There are no other options, just this one place. After eating, take the shuttle bus down the mountain and go home.
