I'm not a fan of museums, but I came here anyway. If you come to Beijing in winter, you must visit this free treasure trove - the China National Film Museum. Let your children experience the charm of the film world, and the best part is that it's free! [A stunning visual feast] As soon as you step in, the 360-degree LED screen, four stories high, will instantly catch your eye! The images of the stars and the sea, the mountains and rivers of the motherland, the 24 solar terms, and the world of dinosaurs are vividly presented before your eyes. The children are excitedly chasing the whales and the Milky Way, having a great time. The visual impact is beyond imagination! Address: China National Film Museum. Tickets: Make a reservation in advance, free admission. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (last admission at 4:30 pm). Transportation: Driving is recommended (free parking is available); you can also take Metro Line 14 to Jiangtai Station and take a taxi. [Highlights of the venue] The central rotunda and IMAX theater on the first floor, with the stars and the sea playing on the big screen, and the images of the mountains and rivers of the motherland with stunning music (realistic dinosaur restoration, along the stairs to the second and third floors, you can take great wide-angle pictures, and watch public welfare movies in Hall 6 for free with a reservation. The second and third floors display various classic movies, telling the century-old history and artistic achievements of Chinese cinema, but the passage closes at 5:00 pm. [Tips for visiting with children] Children under 6 years old do not need to make a reservation, and one adult can bring two children. The museum is quite warm, and there are free lockers, so you can store your thick coats and walk around easily. The location is remote, and there is no restaurant in the museum, but there are vending machines selling water, so remember to bring snacks and water. You can finish a short visit in less than 2 hours, but 3 hours is recommended for a detailed visit. You can learn while playing, which is more memorable than book knowledge. There are also attractions such as the China Railway Museum nearby, which are also great for kids! This winter, take your children here for an unforgettable film culture tour!
