Introducing Tianhetan
Tianhetan is known as the "concentrated bonsai of Guizhou's mountains and waters". It is located in the scenic area of Shiban Town, Huaxi District, Guiyang City. It is a scenic spot with typical karst natural scenery as the main feature and historical celebrities and hermit culture as the supplement. It includes mountains, water, caves, pools, waterfalls, natural bridges and canyons.
Upon entering the scenic area, you'll be greeted by a series of multi-tiered waterfalls, including one reputedly the widest calcified beach waterfall in China. Beneath the waterfalls lies Xiangbagou, where a stroll along the gully reveals traces of ancient ethnic culture—xiangba carts, water wheels, water mills, and water grinders—a truly charming and rustic experience. Connecting the calcified beach with the karst cave is Wolong Lake, where the long, long "Dragon Back" Hundred-Step Stone Bridge emerges from the water, its crystal-clear waters mirror-like. The most exciting experience is taking a boat into the Longtan Cave, a karst cave filled with stone curtains, waterfalls, and stalagmites.
