Transportation
🚇Subway: Take the Xijiao Line to the Summer Palace West Gate Station. It is very convenient to get to the park from this station.
🚌Bus: You can take Bus No. 469, Bus No. 539, or Bus No. 129 to Beiwu Village Station.
🚗Self-driving: Navigate to "Zhongwu Park North Gate Parking Lot" or "Summer Palace West Gate Parking Lot", where parking is more convenient.
[Scenic] Check-in spots
- Internet-famous arch bridge: Standing on the arch bridge, you can have a panoramic view of the scenery on both sides of the river and the reflection on the water surface. It is an excellent place for photography.
- Secret Observation Deck: The observation deck built along the stream, together with the arch bridge, clear water and green trees, forms a picturesque scenery.
- Rest on the rocks: You can sit on the rocks next to the first arch bridge not far from the east entrance to the park and enjoy the quiet time of the sparkling water.
- Shadow of Yufeng Pagoda: Beside Yinghu Tower, the lotus flowers and the reflection of Yufeng Pagoda complement each other, full of classical charm.
Tour route
We recommend the walking route from Zhongwu North Gate to Chapeng Station, which is about 4.5 kilometers long. There are lush greenery along the way, and you can also see the Hayao Miyazaki-style train at Chapeng Station.
