One morning in Beijing, the weather was nice, the wind was cool, and the sky was clear, perfect for walking around without getting sweaty. My friends and I headed to the Forbidden City, which is one of the highlights that you must visit if you visit Beijing.
Before traveling, we recommend buying tickets in advance because the queue at the entrance is long and sometimes the tickets are sold out. We bought tickets in advance through Trip.com, which is easy and convenient. Just show the QR Code and you can enter.
When you walk into the palace, the first thing you feel is the grandeur without any fear of anyone. Everything looks so big that you have to look up every now and then. But don't be afraid of getting tired because the cool weather makes walking around the palace very comfortable and chill.
The area inside the palace is very wide. There are large halls in dazzling red and gold, many layers of doors that look like you've stepped into a Chinese martial arts movie, and quiet corners that are perfect for sitting and taking beautiful pictures.
For those who love taking pictures, I must say that this place is a paradise for photographers. Every corner is a postcard. No matter where you go, you'll want to stop and take pictures.
