Opened in 2019, this library is jointly operated by Nagasaki Prefecture and Omura City
and has the largest collection of 2.02 million books in Kyushu🫢! No wonder it's so big...

The name of the facility was chosen from over 1,500 applications from all over the country, and it is said to be a place where people can learn a lot about the present and future and turn on the switch to nurture their future selves.

The o stands for Omura City, and the n stands for Nagasaki Prefecture.

The first to fourth floors are open, and the design is inspired by a shipyard dock, in honor of Nagasaki's long history of shipbuilding.

There is also a cafe where you can enjoy dishes, baked goods, and drinks made with local ingredients.
