🌿 Beihai Park | Spring Came Suddenly and Quietly Left 🌿

Turns out that big tree by Chanfu Temple in Beihai Park is a Chinaberry tree (苦楝树). I wanted to see it blooming during May Day in Shaoxing, but by then the tree was already lush and green.

I heard when the Chinaberry tree flowers, it means spring is saying goodbye. 🌸🍃 Sure enough, up north, spring always lingers a bit longer before quietly waving farewell.

It’s a gentle reminder of how seasons flow — beautiful but fleeting.
