Beihai Park, Beijing

Beihai Park🌳

Location ❓

- The park is located not far from the Forbidden City, right in the center of Beijing. You can walk from the Forbidden City in about 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace, enjoying the views of the Forbidden City along the way☺️

What to see❓

- The park covers a vast area, including the Beihai Lake, which takes up more than half of the park's territory.
Bai Ta (White Stupa) - a 40-meter stupa located on the top of the peninsula, offering breathtaking views. It's worth the climb👍
There are also two restored Buddhist temples within the park.
And, of course, Beihai Lake, where you can enjoy a boat or pedal boat ride🚣♀️

Food❓

- There are small stalls offering water, ice cream, and snacks, but we didn't come across any full-fledged cafes or restaurants during our visit.

Prices❓

- Entrance to the park costs 10 yuan, and visiting the Bai Ta attraction costs 20 yuan.
A pedal boat costs 200 yuan and can accommodate 4 people.

Opening hours❓

- April to October: 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- November to March: 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM
