Badaling, The Great Wall

I know it's a well known place and nobody will see my post because there are many post about the Great Wall. The wall didn't keep away the hostile nations but the ancient people didn't think how huge success will be.
Itinerary: I could catch the first S2 train so I arrived quite early. I started with the north part. It took me about 1.5 hours to go to the last tower and back about an hour. it's about 10 km according to my step counter.
Then I did the south part. It took me about 70 minutes to complete. It's about 5 km total according to my step counter.
I liked walking on a big wall.
Be careful with the side walks they can lead to an exit point. it's a question you can exit and come back. According to the guard yes but he told me something about the time. Maybe until 2 pm you can come back. I didn't understand exactly. It's better to stay on the wall.
