The Beijing Wildlife Park's self-drive tour area spans 1,200 acres, with a total tour route of 11 kilometers. It features seven major animal exhibition zones, 37 viewing scenes, and showcases 62 species and 828 individual wild animals. Besides self-driving, visitors can also take the park's "mini train" for a tour. The train waiting area is designed in the style of traditional Beijing courtyard houses, with each courtyard named after iconic old Beijing locations and featuring corresponding animals. For example, you can see tigers at "Tiger Bridge," fresh fish at "Fresh Fish Alley," and servals at "Leopard Lane."
Walking Tour Area
The walking tour area of the Beijing Wildlife Park has a 2-kilometer route, featuring over 20 species and more than 300 animals that visitors can interact with and feed. There are over 30 animal pavilions, emphasizing an open concept with innovative designs, diverse viewing angles, minimal visual barriers, and opportunities for close interaction between humans and animals. This design maximizes the connection between people and animals, fostering harmony among humans, animals, and the environment.
Predator Experience Zone
The Predator Experience Zone at the Beijing Wildlife Park covers an area of about 300 acres, with a 3.6-kilometer tour route. Along the way, there are eight exhibition zones showcasing predators such as brown bears, Siberian tigers, white tigers, wolves, black bears, spotted hyenas, African lions, and cheetahs. The zone authentically recreates the natural habitats of these predators. Visitors must take the wildlife sightseeing bus to explore this area.
