This is a charming little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms cool down quickly, which is a big plus in the heat.

That said, there are a few downsides. The beds are extremely firm—almost uncomfortably so—and the shower can be quite slippery, so I recommend using the flip-flops provided in the room. Road noise is noticeable throughout the night, so bringing earplugs or a white noise machine is a good idea.

We tried the breakfast, and it was a pleasant surprise—the noodle soup bowl was delicious, and I highly recommend the fried rice.

One tip if you're traveling in the area: consider bringing a compact camper air mattress, as the beds in many places can be quite hard.

The pool is nice and clean, but keep in mind that it’s very deep all around, which might not be ideal for everyone.
