วัดลามะ (Lama Temple / Yonghe Temple)

Lama Temple, or Yonghe Gong Temple in full, is the most famous Tibetan Buddhist temple in Beijing. It stands out for its Chinese and Tibetan architecture, and its peaceful atmosphere, but it is also full of people who come to worship, pray, and bring good fortune to their lives.

This place is famous for its amulets, especially the “incense powder necklaces and charms” that are used to worship the Buddha and are compressed into various forms. It is believed to have sacred power. Many Beijingers recommend that if you come here, you should not miss it and take one home with you.

The temple gives out free incense to visitors to use to worship and pray at various points, whether it is for work, love, health, or even children and grandchildren, which is very popular among both Chinese and foreign tourists.

The highlight of this temple is the 26-meter-high sandalwood Buddha statue, which was brought from Tibet and enshrined in the main hall. It is considered one of the largest wooden Buddha statues in the world and has been recorded in the Guinness World Records.
