Yonghe Temple, often known as “the temple where wishes come true,” is a must-visit site in Beijing. If it’s your first time, here’s a freshly-updated guide to help you make the most of your visit 👇
📌 1. Tickets
Tip: If you're visiting on a weekend or public holiday, it’s best to book online in advance.
On weekdays, you can buy on-site to get a physical paper ticket — a nice keepsake 📄.

🚇 2. Transportation
Subway is super convenient:
Take Line 2 or Line 5 to Yonghe Temple Station.
Use Exit F — turn left after exiting, and you’ll see the temple entrance.
You’ll also pass Guozijian Street, a great photo spot 📷.
⏰ 3. Time Planning
Recommended stay: at least 2 hours
Take your time to light incense, walk slowly, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
🎒 4. Tips & Etiquette
You can bring your own incense or get it for free inside the temple.
Dress respectfully: avoid shorts or sleeveless tops.
