1-Day Trip to the Great Wall and Summer Palace

Today, we embarked on a one-day tour in Beijing, visiting some of the city's top highlights. We booked this trip through Trip.com. In the morning, we climbed the Great Wall at Mutianyu, and in the afternoon, we visited the Summer Palace and ended the day at the Bird's Nest Stadium.

Before the trip, we received an email with details about the meeting point where we would gather and board the bus. The morning started with a visit to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. I chose this section of the wall because it features a slide for descending, which adds a fun element to the experience. We spent about 3-4 hours there before heading to the Summer Palace to admire its beauty. Finally, the tour concluded with a drop-off at the Bird's Nest Stadium, China's National Stadium. Overall, it was a fantastic one-day tour and definitely worth considering!
