After spending too much time in the city's hustle and bustle, you just want to find a quiet place to relax. By chance, I discovered Beijing Xitan Hotel, and this experience completely won me over!

🚗 Location and Transportation:
The hotel is tucked away in the old site of Yangpoyuanlao Village, Mentougou, western Beijing, right next to the thousand-year-old Tanzhe Temple. Driving along the winding mountain road, the further you go, the more the city's noise fades away. Upon arrival, seeing the elegant ancient gate, I felt as if I had traveled back in time.

🏞 Hotel Layout:
The entire hotel consists of 17 traditional Chinese courtyards with a total of 38 guest rooms spread across 10 serene and rustic courtyards. The room designs are very thoughtful, each with a unique style, and some even feature private hot spring baths. The room I stayed in had windows opening to green mountains and trees, with sunlight pouring in, warm and comfortable. The room is fully equipped, and the minibar offers premium items such as THONON natural mineral water, the royal water of the Sun King from France, and Alain fruit juices, showcasing quality in every detail.

🍽 Dining Experience:
The hotel's Rongfu Yan Restaurant is a Michelin-awarded restaurant, created by "Xin Rong Ji," the only Michelin three-star Chinese restaurant brand in mainland China. Breakfast includes soy milk with fried dough sticks and Hunan rice noodles—homely and delicious; the main meals feature carefully selected ingredients cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight. Besides Rongfu Yan, the hotel also has Ban Baiyun Café, Wunian Whiskey Bar, and Wuxiang Caviar Bar, catering to different tastes.

Xitan Hotel excels in leisure and entertainment as well. The Park Hyatt Zen Meditation Room helps you calm your mind and find inner peace; the Qinshi Spa Center has a professional spa team to relieve your body’s fatigue; the gym is equipped with a full set of Technogym equipment and professional fitness guidance; and the 20-seat professional (THX) cinema offers the latest film releases for a full audiovisual feast.

🌳 Garden Design:
The garden design is by Japanese landscape master Nomura Kanji, featuring 20 meaningful landscape designs that cleverly integrate the natural mountain scenery and inner courtyards into the interior. The natural wall in the lobby, composed of green pines, waterfalls, and stone arrangements by Masatoshi Izumi, complements the large mural "Blooming" by Belgian artist Lina Kusaite, making you feel as if you are inside a traditional Chinese landscape painting.

The hotel’s service is also very attentive, with butler service throughout your stay, promptly responding to any needs from check-in to during your visit.
