Ioji Temple is a famous spot that is always on maps when you visit Tomonoura.
It's a short walk from the Joyoto. If you keep climbing the slope in the residential area, you'll see the gate and if you climb the steep stairs, you'll reach Ioji Temple.

It goes up quite high, so you can get a beautiful view of the town of Tomonoura.

If you want to enjoy the view from even higher, you can go up even higher from the left side of the temple grounds.
