Jingshan Park, the Forbidden City viewpoint

Jingshan Park is a viewpoint of the Forbidden City and a high-angle view of Beijing. It is near the exit of the Forbidden City. After we have finished walking around, it is recommended to watch the sunset at Jingshan Park. Walk up the hill to the viewpoint on top. Walk up the hill for about 10-15 minutes. When you reach the top of the mountain, you will see a beautiful panoramic view.

🚇: Take Line 1 and get off at Tiananmen East Station 天安门东 or Tiananmen West 天安门西 Exit B, passing Tiananmen Square. Then enter through Wumen Gate, walk around the Forbidden City, then exit the gate (the only exit) and go down the underground tunnel to the opposite side where the ticket booth is.
