The garden's Porcelain Street recreates Jingdezhen's ancient porcelain commercial streets, where many arts and crafts masters have studios and showcase their exquisite ceramic sculpture skills. Every weekend morning, a porcelain market is held. The open-air stalls offer a wide variety of interesting items, unseen elsewhere. The market is frequented by creative students, artists, and ceramic shops. On Saturday mornings, there are also pottery stalls hosted by students from the Ceramics Institute.
Upon entering the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, to your left, you'll find a cluster of Ming Dynasty Hui-style buildings, the Ming and Qing Garden. The bustling streets recreate the atmosphere of Jingdezhen's ancient porcelain trade streets, with rows of small shops dedicated entirely to porcelain. Many arts and crafts masters have studios here, and there's also a creative market for university students. A porcelain market is held every weekend morning.
The Mingqing Garden of the Sculpture Porcelain Factory now boasts several key attractions, including the Celebrity Workshop, the Osmanthus Garden, the Lotte Pottery Society, the International Ceramics Exchange Center, and the Sculpture Art Exhibition and Sales Center. Visitors can not only observe the work of national-level arts and crafts masters Liu Yuanchang, the Ceramic Family, and Zhang Zhenghai, but also enjoy shopping and leisure activities. Interested individuals can also experience the thrill and joy of making artistic ceramics by improvising.
