#chinatravel Qianmen Pedestrian Walking Street (前门大街) in Beijing is a must-visit cultural walk destination if you are near Tiananmen Square / Forbidden City !
Qianmen Street spans 840 meters in length and is interspaced with traditional Ming and Qing architecture, tea houses, medicine shops and modern retail stores / cafes.
If you are around Tiananmen Square or Forbidden City, it's easy to walk over. As it's the current summer school holiday here,if you intend to take DiDi ride from your hotel, you may end up alighting off-site due to human traffic and road blocks. You will either ask around or rely on Google maps to walk over. Avoid the hutongs as you might end up getting lost lol.

- just opposite the main entrance. Very grand and majestic with historical charm

8. Traditional paifang gateways, historic shops, teahouses, courtyards and hutongs
