It is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape architecture and a site that showcases Chinese culture and beliefs throughout history. The Temple of Heaven resembles a sacrificial hall, with a circular shape, blue tiles, and a pointed, gold-plated roof. It houses tablets of various deities used in worship.
